Bricks Build Brains is really the culmination of a great childhood  filled with wonder, imagination and fun because of Legos.  Brick building not only molds strong minds in youth but stimulates cognition at any age including Seniors.  We are committed to providing bricks to people who would not otherwise have access.  Current benefactors of our efforts include Grace Memorial Church Children's programs and Self-Help for the Elderly where Joseph has conducted building seminars for Seniors.

Joseph is a Senior at Gateway High School in San Francisco.  He conceived Bricks for Brains initially as a project to become an Eagle Scout, but quickly realized that this effort should be more than a single event.  Joseph is committed to his community and was a volunteer in anti-smoking efforts and throughout the pandemic, as a vaccination clinic volunteer.  He is also deeply committed to animal causes, particularly horse rescue. Joseph can't be sure he can change the world, he is working on his little corner of it.
